Membership Information

We Invite You to Become a Member of Northeast Baptist Church:

     If you desire to follow Jesus Christ and to be loyal and supportive of the doctrines, fellowship and purposes of Northeast Baptist Church, we invite you to become a member. There are three ways that we receive members.

By Profession of Faith
     If you will receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and will follow him in baptism by the authority of this church and immersion, we will welcome you into our fellowship.

By Letter from another Baptist Church
     As a Baptist whose membership is elsewhere, should God direct you here we will be pleased to welcome you into our church family. We will take care of the appropriate details for the transferring of your membership. You need only to present yourself for membership in an invitation during a public worship service.

By Statement of Faith
     If you know in your heart that you have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ by accepting Him as your Lord and Savior and desire to be a member of Northeast Baptist Church, we will be happy to receive you. If you were once a member of a Baptist church or your records are not available, we will accept you upon your statement of these conditions. If your church membership is currently in another denomination and you have not been baptized by immersion, under the authority of a Baptist Church, as a testimony of your salvation, we would expect you to be baptized in obedience to Christ before being added to our church family.

We encourage you to seek an audience with the pastor before presenting yourself to the church in an invitation. He can answer any questions you may have.
