Pastor Jerry Summy is the founding Pastor of Northeast Baptist Church.  He is married to Gwenda Summy. They have three married children and seven grandchildren.
   He has been in the ministry over 35 years, Pastoring in Oklahoma before coming to Texas in 1976. He served on the staff of Friendship Baptist Church before starting Northeast in '84. 
   Pastor Summy believes that Jesus Christ is the only hope for all mankind.  He believes and teaches the Bible (KJV) to be God's infallible and inerrant Word.  He loves serving as a Pastor and looks forward to leading Northeast to greater and more effective ministry for the Lord Jesus Christ!
