About Us
Northeast Baptist Church exists to glorify God by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, teaching the Word of God, and making disciples.
We are a Bible-centered, family-focused church committed to salvation, spiritual growth, and faithful service to Christ out of love and gratefulness to His sacrifice on the cross for our sins. We invite you to worship with us and grow together in obedience to God’s Word.
Our Purpose
on Love
We point people to God by loving Him and by living out Christlike love toward one another.
on Service
We serve God by obeying His Word, supporting the work of the local church, and faithfully sharing the Gospel.
on Worship
We worship God through biblical preaching, prayer, and music that honors Christ and exalts the truth of Scripture.
on Evangelism
We evangelize by faithfully preaching the Gospel and urging all to trust Christ for salvation.
on Discipleship
We disciple believers through biblical teaching that equips them to live obedient, Christ-honoring lives.
on Stewardship
We practice stewardship by honoring God with our resources and supporting the work of the local church.
on Unity
We pursue unity by submitting to the authority of God’s Word and laboring together in love for the Gospel.
on Mission
We fulfill the Great Commission through the local church by preaching the Gospel and making disciples.
Our Beliefs
- The Bible(KJV) is the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God.
- God is infinite, eternal, unchangeable and almighty.
- Jesus Christ is the virgin born Son of God, the only hope of eternal life.
- The Holy Spirit is our comforter, our guide and our teacher who indwells every believer.
- Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ as personal savior.
- The Lord’s Second coming to earth will be personal, physical and premillennial.
- Heaven and hell are literal and eternal places: heaven for the saved, hell for the unsaved.
- The church is a local visible body of scripturally baptized believers working together to do God’s work.
- Baptism & the Lord’s Supper are local church ordinances administered by the authority of a local Baptist church and are symbolic in nature.
Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Conner has served in ministry for nearly 30 years, beginning in East Texas and spending 25 years in Southeast Oklahoma. He and his wife, Melonie, have four children and he holds a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Liberty University.
